The Kiosk for Living Well

“The community monitoring at the Kiosks has actually saved lives.” – James Burnett, The Boston Foundation

“One of the difficulties in primary care is access. When patients come to the Kiosk, it’s an opportunity for us to find out how they’re doing and how we can better care for them.  – Steve Oakley, Nurse Care Manager, Lynn Community Health Center

“Kiosks are important because people need individual or group guidance to sort out information they get. It’s about the personal connection and making people’s lives better.” Harry Moody, Visiting Professor, Fielding Graduate University

The Kiosk for Living Well

A unique, results-oriented program that promotes health and wellness at community pulse points

The Kiosk for Living Well  is a mobile physical space embedded in existing sites in the community. Kiosks are located at community pulse points the places where people naturally congregate and are designed to promote health and wellness, community engagement, and fun! Staff provide decision support so consumers can make their own decisions about health care and other life choices.

The Kiosk for Living Well  is a program that can thrive in all communities. The foundation of good health begins in the community setting and the Kiosk demonstrates how social determinants influence health outcomes much more than clinical care does.

Kiosks offer programs and opportunities that draw in those who truly need them, offering information and training in a way that is engaging, educational, and entertaining.

The Kiosks function as health centers without walls and feature a variety of health and wellness specialists.
